HATE

I hate singing
But my heart keeps beating a melody

I hate dancing
But your words make my leg moving along with the song

I hate yellow
But you look so lovely with your yellow shirt

I hate poetry
But my mind keep writing sentences between ‘you’ and ‘me’

I hate rain
But I love standing under the umbrella with you

I hate cold
But staying with you under the winter sky is what I want

I hate waking up early
But to say good morning to you wake me every morning

I hate being fussed
But keep waiting for your call in every minute

I hate waiting
But as long as it’s for you, it doesn’t matter

I hate saying this
But I’m falling in love with you…

BADAI

Badai cintamu mengurung hatiku
Di dalam gua beralaskan nafsu
Dan berlangitkan mimpi-mimpi indah
Ingin ku berlari keluar merengkuh bintang
Namun rayuan di balik gelapmu
Semakin menyeretku dalam bayangmu
Apakah artinya kebebasan
Bagiku yang sudah terpasung perasaan?

Butir-butir hujan keingintahuan
Menahanku di pinggiran penantian
Dan percikan air kerinduan
Menari di bawah langit keromantisan
Kegelisahan tak kunjung henti
Memeluk tiap sudut dalam hati
Kegalauan tidak juga pergi
Membelai pikiranku hari demi hari

Sambaran petir yang merejam
Dentuman guntur yang mengancam
Oh mereka tak akan bisa
Membuatku putus asa
Dan bila badai sudah terlelap
Di saat mentari mulai mendekap
Ku hanya bisa berkata pada genangan air
Dan pada angin dingin yang berdesir

Bahwa kau sudah mencuri hatiku…

FINAL DISTANCE

Under the morning sun
I can see you standing there
My heart beg me to greet you hi
But the word just can’t go out
Like a hook grasping tight to my throat
Till when this wall keep standing
Separated us from these words,
That can’t even spoken out?

Under the starry night
I can see you sitting there
Our stares meet in a simple line
My heart tell me walk to your side
But my leg just standing like frozen
Till when this wall keep standing
Separated us with these dilemmas,
That can’t even gotten over?

I want to remove the wall between us
And bring you closer to me
That nothing can separate us
Or take you away from me
But don’t know how to tell you that
Can just watch you from where I stand
Still I want to be with you
Together in the final distance…
